Kristin Kent (Siivonen)

Kristin's career as a Makeup Artist and Hairstylist began in 1998 after attending the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. From an early age she was captivated by the world of fashion magazines, and later found her passion by combining her love of style and beauty with her fine art training.

In New York, Kristin honed her skills assisting a variety of Makeup Artists and Hairstylists before building her own client roster. She went on to work for Macy's, Adidas, and the New York Times, and collaborated with acclaimed photographers including Mark Seliger, Pamela Hanson, Frank Ockenfels, and Andrew Eccles. Her Makeup work also brought her alongside notable personalities such as Bob Costas, Jerry Seinfeld, Jason Sudeikis, Andrew Rannells, David Hyde Pierce, Sara Bareilles, and The Radio City Rockettes.

Before relocating to Kansas City in 2017, Kristin spent nearly a decade as a member of MLB Network and NHL Network's Makeup Department, working on the Emmy--winning MLB Tonight as well as daily studio programming across both networks. High-visibility remote production credits include MLB Hall of Fame Inductions, All-Star Week, and showcase games for NYC and KC teams — plus premier stadium broadcasts for NBC Sports Network and ESPN.

Since relocating to Kansas City, she's worked on commercials with Patrick Mahomes, Seasons 3 and 4 of Netflix's Emmy--winning series Queer Eye, Carlos Santana's Joy Music Video, and headed up the Makeup Department for HBO's Second Chance Stage. Kristin also opened Undercover Ink, a brow studio in the Kansas City Crossroads where she offers Permanent Brows, Makeup Applications and Private Makeup Lessons.

With over 27 years of experience, Kristin's clients have come to appreciate her approachability, strong work ethic, and professionalism.
