Kristin Kent (Siivonen)

Kristin’s career as a makeup artist and hairstylist began in 1998 after attending the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. From an early age she was captivated by what she saw in fashion magazines and later found her passion by combining her love for style and beauty with her fine art training.

 

Kristin began freelancing in New York and sharpened her skills by assisting a variety of makeup artists & hairstylists. This work led to her own clients and soon she was working on shoots for Macy’s, Adidas and the New York Times.  Over the years she has worked with acclaimed photographers such as Mark Seliger, Pamela Hanson, Frank Ockenfels and Andrew Eccles as well as with notable personalities Bob Costas, Jerry Seinfeld, Jason Sudeikis, Andrew Rannells, David Hyde Pierce, Sara Bareilles and the Radio City Rockettes. 

 

Before moving to Kansas City in 2017, Kristin was an original member of the MLB Network and NHL Network’s Makeup Department. She spent 9 years with MLB working on the Emmy winning MLB Tonight as well as all MLB Network and NHL Network daily studio shows.

Recent projects have included commercials with Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs, work for NBC Sports Network and seasons 3 & 4 of Netflix’s Emmy winning show Queer Eye. She has also recently opened a brow studio in the Kansas City Crossroads called Undercover Ink where she is Microblading, grooming eyebrows and giving makeup lessons.
